cut ups: dj orión + prince klassen + pagame + disco shawn + dubbel dutch @ iron gate, june 19th 2010
after the exodus of red fez's coolest staff peeps, the cut ups will now be takin' the fun times to e. 6th st dive iron gate.
fresh from the previous night's @peligrosa throwdown, @dj orión, @pagame & @disco shawn joined by @prince klassen & @dubbel dutch for some pretty god damned good times. especially my drunk ass trying to teach @isabelj how to dance & hula hoopin' w/other pretty patrons.
while i cut the proverbial rug, mr. beats beers tacos & bikes himself @dj cauze-one, took care of documenting the party.
party time!

subcomandante quito does the holidaze!
took a break during the xxxmas break to visit family & decided that since everyone has a goddamned point-n-shoot, i would go on a vacation from fotog'n.
soon as i got back my homies @ plush asked me to take pictures of the staff/regulars holiday party. we even had a santa givin' away some tasty coke-zero!
thanks to jake, mez, skinny, seij & everyone else @ my fave dive bar! <3 y'all!
the end of that devil decade came & went anticlimactically. i was supposed to work, but then didn't [kinda wanted to make a lil' scratch]. figured the best way to end the year is with the peeps i know & love.
stopped by the mohawk & cheered on my homies manolo black & dj pagame warmin' up the outdoors crowd, then kicked it w/hobo d & orión keepin' it toasty indoors. it was a great year w/my peligrosa all stars brothers.
rang the new one in w/the fam @ plush.
afterparty @ the music gym w/the peen scene, cauze one, dubbel dutch, pagame, parson & all the die-hard partiers!
big <3 to all my friends in the O-10!

2 live crew @ mohawk, say what! @ plush, trouble & bass crew @ booty, & after party @ music gym! june 25th 2009
hawt diggity! this was an EPIC night!
started out @ rabbit's on e. 6th shootin' the filmin' of sonido boombox's intro [can't show this foto set 'til the video's debut], then book'd it majorly to mohawk so i could "sneak" in w/orión & his gear, drank some brews, hung out w/the honeys from avant salon, got some shots of the openin' acts [richardhenry/orión, ms. prissy, dubb sicks & dmg$], then 2 live crew got on stage & got the big/small booty h0@s to shake it on the dance floor!
i kinda got fed up w/the show & roll'd to plush for some bassline/electro/fidget/bmore courtesy of mez one, cauze one, dubbel dutch & orión. got totally blitzed & "high w/a little help from my friends". even got to dance w/some lovely birds!
still had a lil' bit of time to check out the trouble & bass crew @ booty bar. DANG! those kids seriously bring the noize. i really wanna catch an entire set by these cats!
after hours was a must for so many great shows on the 7th/red river district. music gym did not disappoint! it was a total sweaty mess w/king louie, orión & anna love on the 1's & 2's. seems like everyone who came out to mohawk/plush/booty decided to prolong the night @ the gym.
wherever mj went, he must've been lookin' up/down on tons of kids dancin' the night away! such bittersweet night...
@ around 3:30am i somehow ;) managed to sober up enough to realize that it was time to ride home, sleep 4 hours & get to work...

autons @ red 7, then a lil' debauchary june 4th 2009
howdy y'all! tony of the autons asked me to take pictures of their show @ red 7. unfortunately i showed up a bit late, but w/enough time take a few shots of the boys doin' their thing. big ups to the staff @ red 7 for lettin' me take pics & to josh for havin' such mad skills on the sound board! big ups to awesome sound-systems! suck it emo's! [just a suggestion]
thanks to my partner in dj'n crime james for convincing me to stay out all fuckin' night & hatin' life the next day ;) "we'll sleep when we die!" check'd out 1st thursdays' the 90s party @ club de ville w/orión & doneski. hoof'd it to barcelona for another wild life! party. thanks to $2 josh/joushua distance, richard.gear, dubbel dutch & kingdom for the great tunes! also, eyeplug for providin' the kick ass projections.
my buddies from the peen scene were out & about, it's always great hangin' out w/'em! check out their fotos from this show here.
revelin' in my own stupidity, i stopped by the music gym for the summer sizzle fashion show after/after-party, where i got to hang out w/rob from good looks photography. can't stop/won't stop!
