finally caught up!
dreary weather did not keep the true believers from gettin' their sauce on this evening.
dropped in to say hi to my homies ryan & eric @ barcelona & caught a load of madclassy dub-step to my dome. hmmmmm... tasty!

jon pettis memorial fund benefit @ hole in the wall, december 6th 2009
our friend is gone, but he will forever live in our hearts & minds.
the versatile syndicate, east cameron collective & the rest of the hole in the wall family got together to support the jon pettis memorial fund.
i arrived pretty late & missed a big chunk of the bands that performed, but still caught the lovelies of follow that bird, the bearded the bread, the incredibly tall midgetmen & the kickassery champs bridge farmers.

fair food austin aims to "educate consumers about the human rights crisis farmworkers face and to promote the campaign for fair food. the campaign requires large food corporations -- from taco bell to whole woods -- to demand more humane labor standards from their florida tomato suppliers, to pay a premium price for more fairly produced tomatoes, and to buy only from growers who meet those higher standards."

art over congress ed. 3 @ lanai, november 18th 2009
b.e. strange of strange tribe invited me to an event he put together @ lanai to show off some of the fotos i've taken over the past year. this was a few weeks back, but wanted to let y'all see the stuff i showed.
i kinda waited 'til the last possible moment to work on the pictures, but thanks to some good advice from my holmes robnice, the prints/frames came out pretty cool.
here's a slideshow of the 18 shots i considered for the event, the 1st 8 made the cut.
