this is my dislocated shoulder: a two year glimpse into the austin music scene
hello my lovelies!
during the month of march i will have 30+ fotos hanging on the walls of thunderbird coffe on east manor road.
below you will find the amazing flyer designed by my great friend jorge @ frebruary forth design:

jubilee + dj orion @ beauty bar, february 11th 2011
i've witnessed jubilee bring a raucous party two times!
add PELIGROSA all-star dj orion to the mix & it got pretty damned hot in february.
those fucking assholes @ the liquor store by the ol' music gym started towing & took my car that night. dropped $250+ as ransom, yet i still couldn't get over how much fun i had this night.

the gun dilemma: or how facts just can't make a dent on this american love affair
since the horrendous events of last saturday in tucson, az; some pundits have actually taken up the great gun debate.
rachel maddow of the rachel maddow show is one of these pundits.
it's another reason why i watch her show w/a passion.
tonight she displayed this:
as a sociology major & general statistics nerd, i truly wish people would use logic instead of emotion on these issues.

this was pretty much it for me during free week oh.eleven.
i was totally drained from my 2 week xxxmas/nye staycation in austin.
started gettin' sick 'round this specific night.
a bummer, but did manage to get some much needed rest for these 30+ y/o bones.
my homeboy dialek fronts this 4-5 piece unit called the means.
they have been playing around austin for the better part of oh.ten & it feels like oh.eleven is gonna bring some well deserved attention their way.
the fellas opened up this hip hop showcase to a good crowd of headz. i was stoked to hear quite a number of new tracks they've been working on since i last saw 'em.
check 'em out on stage:
also got to shoot some band fotos for the boys in the red 7 green room before their set:
in the spirit for free week, dialek sent me a track for all your hungry ears:
